I love that story! I first heard it after my best friend's husband became a sheriff's deputy. He was told that story dring his training. She bought him a small starfish charm to wear on a chain around his neck as a reminder. I hope that whoever you're mailing your starfish to love it as much as I do!

That is a great story and symbol. I was listening to someone the other day talk about how even our energy makes a difference to those around us. Often we think, as one person, we can't make a siginicant difference, but we do all day-every day to those we come in contact with. Have a Happy T-day!

I tried to knit once and I just couldn't catch on to it. I admire anyone who can do it. Love your starfish! It looks like it would be difficult to do.
