So cool! I love the colors of the yarn as well...lucky girls! I first learned how to knit reading the Klutz knitting book, so there are quick projects in there like cellphone holder or little purse, a flower decoration perhaps! There's also a tutorial for a bear plushie I just saw, so cute http://pugnotes.blogspot.com/2009/11/tutorial-e...

Ms. B, Maybe they could make little coin purses? I made a few when I was 7 or so and they are very easy. I worked mine flat, just a rectangle for about 20-30cm, then decreases through the rows to shape the top into a triangle. Fold the rectangle in half and stitch up the edges. If you mad small ones it shouldn't take up too much yarn.

Hi Rachel:
Thanks for the great knitting ideas you have sparked for me in the past AEDM month.
Suggestions for the girls' novelty yarn: mug mats, Christmas tree ornaments, bookmarks, jewellery.
Now I want to get out the knitting bag and make some too!
Thanks.
