I made a few when I was 7 or so and they are very easy. I worked mine flat, just a rectangle for about 20-30cm, then decreases through the rows to shape the top into a triangle. Fold the rectangle in half and stitch up the edges. If you mad small ones it shouldn't take up too much yarn. Ms. B, Maybe they could make little coin purses?
